Diet for BODY.., Nutrition for MAN

Food is requiring living alive, it is basic need of every human being but it should be taken in a proper manner in diseases like diabetes, heart diseases & obesity. Diet such as carbohydrates, protein, fat, minerals & vitamin is requiring live alive & healthy.

Proper management of diet should be given to our patients but it always considers that which class of patients is coming to you. Most of time we advice diet which can not afford to people along with medicine we give to them. People in the Mumbai do not have that much time to look over his health. So, many people are suffering from any one disease.

In cases of diabetes diet should be given in balance so that sugar level will be maintained in average range. I advised diet according to plan that I have made. This is helping my diabetic, hypertensive, obese patients. & it is working all the time. Many patients find a way to overcome their long standing complaints.




There are 4 strategies –

1. Diet & nutrition management
2. Habit control
3. Weight management
4. Medicine management

Diet & nutrition management

Morning breakfast 8 a.m.

1. Idly 2-3
2. Upma 1 plate (less sugar)
3. Shira 1 plate (less sugar)
4. Dosa
5. Poha 1 plate
6. marri biscuits with tea (sugar free)

Any one of them according like and dislike of the person. Such food contains fewer carbohydrates.

Mid morning 11-12 noon

Milk: 1 glass skimmed milk

Lunch, afternoon 2-3 p.m.

All types of salads with normal salt.
Or
All types of pulses kept in water overnight or boiled & fried with require taste Masala, 1 plate, and whenever hunger appears.

In this we take more protein & vitamin, minerals by lowering fats.




4 p.m.

Tea (without sugar or sugar free) with 2-4 marri biscuits.

Dinner

Any food should be taken such as 1-2 Chapattis (70% wheat & 30% soybean) or 1 bhakri, 1 plate rice, dal, all green leafy vegetable, pulses, including non vegetarian food. (Such as chicken, meat, or fish), oil also used which is highly saturated fat. For night food it should be taken full because there much period till morning. After eating at night we do take food again because of sleep & complete rest.


No any added food such as snacks can be taken in between two meals. If you want to take any juice or any sweet dish take it immediately after food or replace your normal food instead this. There should be gap about 4-5 hrs in each meal. Lots of water about 2-3 litres per day & 30 – 45 minutes regular walking is compulsory.

Many patients in first time when we begin this management says that I got more hungry but as time passes body get adapt then it is very easy control over hunger. Then also you feel hungry take prepared fried pulses to relieve the hunger.

From this type of diet management sugar remain under good control. Patient like diabetes 1 & diabetes 2 got excellent control over sugar.

Habit control

Alcohol should be avoided or 1 peg i.e. 70ml as per day or occasionally recommended by WHO. Coffee, Tobacco also avoid in any form.





Weight management:

It also helps to reduce weight about 3 kgs in a month without losing your strength and heath. More fats burns & liver try to maintain its normal metabolism.





One of the liver’s primary jobs is to store energy in the form of glycogen, which is made from a type of sugar called glucose. The liver removes glucose from the blood when blood glucose levels are high. Through a process called glycogen sis, the liver combines the glucose molecules in long chains to create glycogen, a carbohydrate that provides a stored form of energy. When the amount of glucose in the blood falls below the level required to meet the body’s needs, the liver reverses this reaction, transforming glycogen into glucose.
Many other chemicals are produced by the liver. These include fibrinogen and prothrombin, which help wounds to heal by enabling blood to form clots, and cholesterol, a key component of cell membranes that transports fats in the bloodstream to body tissues. Which is also helps to control over hypertension, heart attack etc.

More fat got burn by reducing weight. Reduction in weight also helps to maintain the sugar, blood pressure.


Medicines management

Along with that homoeopathic medicine also play important role. It helps to the patient to control mind, body & soul to run perfect harmony with help of vital force; medicines are only stimulus for the man, he himself has to cure.


At last I can say we not only cure our patient but preserve health of human being. And that is more important in present day.
